"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

just make sure it doesn't put you insanely behind in any required classes, or if the program includes major classes (e.g. pre-vet etc classes [e.g. the classes you take junior and senior years]) then just decide when it would be best to go. if it's the first option (puts you behind in classes) you'll have to act fast (e.g. sophomore year sometime) or else you'll add semester onto your education.
